In the award-winning documentary Children Full of Life, a fourth-grade class in a primary school in Kanazawa, northwest of Tokyo, learn lessons about compassion from their homeroom teacher, Toshiro Kanamori. He instructs each to write their true inner feelings in a letter, and read it aloud in front of the class. By sharing their lives, the children begin to realize the importance of caring for their classmates. The children learns that their primary goal is to be happy, and that sharing feelings is part of the path to happiness.
A massive earthquake hit Haiti On January 12, killing thousands of people and wounding many more. The quake, measuring 7 on the Richter scale, has caused widespread damage and leaving a large number of people homeless and hungry.
The people of Haiti need assistance as quickly as possible to prevent worsening the misery already caused by the disaster.
